I've had an interesting day...
So today was fairly interesting - if not just down right amusing. Then again, I tend to be amused fairly easily. So that's not saying too much. I went over to Family Dollar during my lunch hour to pick up a sketch pad for DS3 and a notebook for DS1. The guy in front of me kept asking how much his total was getting to before the cashier was finished. Then he decides to write a check. Then he questions why the cashier needs to see his driver's license. Then he wants to know why he has to sign the BACK of the check (apparently FD does the automatic draft out of your checking account now). Once he's all taken care of, it's my turn. I pay for my two little things and head on out to the car. The guy that was so worried had a handicap tag for his car. I thought at first maybe he was just pinching his pennies (which is all good). Then it dawned on me...the due is driving a Mercedes (brand new). No wonder he's shopping at the dollar store - he spends all his $$ on a car payment.

Okay, so maybe that wasn't so interesting.

I am starting a mini-challenge (six weeks) to try and get rid of the last eight pounds I'm holding on to. I am also starting a no fast food rush. Today was day one if you don't count the donut I had for breakfast. So before Turkey day, I should be down to a comfortable 115. For the record, don't send me comments talking about how skinny I already am. My hips are ten inches wider than my waist and the extra weight is very difficult for me to carry on my joints having lupus. My hips already pop like crazy and might have a pinched nerve to boot. :-p

Well, 5:30 comes awful early in the AM so I am headed to bed.

Yall be quiet and don't wake me up.

Unsolicited advice (because I cannot give unsolicited legal advice):

Careful on your mini-challenge. As a rule of thumb, it's unhealthy to lose weight at a rate faster than a-pound-a-week. The easiest (not necessarily the quickest) way to lose weight is to spread out your meals through out the day. Plan it if you have to. You should eat something every 3 hours. Due to my bar review, I hadn't had a day of exercise in a month, but my weight loss is still going at a steady rate.

Well at this rate, I would only lose about one or two pounds per week. I can't eat every three hours. I'd be sick. I go for my three well portioned meals and eat a small snack in between if I am hungry. I just can't eat if I am not hungry. Yesterday I had 1100 calories which is just 100 shy of my low end caloric intake range.

I'm doing a long challenge. So you and I both will be trying to drop a few pounds. For the record, I haven't had fast food since I left UCO. I've also had lots of time to go for long walks during the morning hours. Next week starts my new job. I've been off for so long, I don't know if I can go to work again. I've gotten so used to being lazy LOL.
