Friday night we drove to Arlington to take the boys to Six Flags. I made good time. I drove about 99% of the way. We stayed at a Quality Inn and then went to Six Flags on Saturday. Tickets are up to $45 per person now. Some guy had extra tickets from his church group so we bought those for $30 a piece instead of paying $45. We bought a couple of souvenier cups and the boys met the Justice League (since when did Wonder Woman pair up with thunder thighs??). DS2 did not want to have his picture taken with them because they "weren't real". Way to suck the fun out of things. LOL The other two (DS1 and 3) loved it, though. The Cop Magnet was sick the entire trip so I rode most of the rides with the boys. I got DS1 on the Shockwave. We got to the top of the first hill and saw the loops. He said, "There's loops?" I said, "Yep." He said, "Oh my..." By then it was too late. LOL When it was over with he said NEVER again. I told him that he doesn't have to ride it again.
Then today, my mother called...the electric co is going to shut her electricity off tomorrow because she doesn't have $60 to pay them. My brother refused since she took her crack addict boyfriend back. She also let some girl she didn't know move in and her money order was supposedly stolen by that same girl. I told her no. I really don't have it to give and there is NO guarantee that it won't be used for other things. I still can't help but feel a little bit guilty about not giving it to her but I know I am doing the right thing.
