Okay, so yes, gas prices are going down but I doubt it lasts. Sure, call me a pessimist but a pessimist is an optimist with life experience. Not long ago, I needed to stop and put gas into the grocery getter. The gas prices just started to go down. I went to TWO different gas stations. There was a line of cars around each one. Granted, I'm just as happy as the next person that gas is starting to come down but I am not willing to stay in line just for gas that went from $2.89 to $2.60. I called The Cop Magnet and I was just in shock. I could not believe people rushed to the station just like in the gas wars of old (1990s).
Now gas is down to about $2.39 a gallon. I'm sorry, but when the industry is making record breaking profits, I think they can afford to bring it down. What I never did figure out was why airplane tickets didn't go up that much.
Needless to say, it still costs me over 30 dollars to fill up my little four banger grocery getter. The Cop Magnet is even worse because it has an LT1 so it needs that premium stuff.
